Carl Sandburg Middle School participated in the National World Read Aloud Day on February 1st, 2018. All participating teachers took time out of their class to read to their students in celebration of World Read Aloud Day. Not only did Reading and English teachers participate, but other teachers in subject areas did as well. Teachers had their choice of story, which allowed them the opportunity to share something personal and meaningful to their own lives. This day allowed students and teachers alike to promote reading and share their favorite stories with one another. We would like to thank the teachers who took part as well as the students who chose to read in front of their classes in the National Read Aloud Day!
